Copper Lantern is a family restaurant with great down home cooking. No cruising unless you're in a hurry to get Great Food
The hashbrowns are soooo good!
Family restaurant with homey meal choices. A little dated, but that's part of the charm. Service was efficient without being intrusive.
Fast, polite, good French toast & roast beef melt
Good place to eat. Brought my 96 year old father in law. He was happy, so, we were happy.
First time back to this place since I was a kid. Hasn't really changed. Not a bad thing. Good food. Friendly staff. Continuing the family tradition! 🤗
Place was clean food good help friendly cozy warm decor easy in and out
Good food good service, small town feel. Lots to choose from on the menu. Cheap kids meals that come with ALOT of food.
Family Restaurant, no frills.Taco salad 👎 taco shell was old and stale. Probably made with oil that was ready to be dumped. Salad bar was average, soups were not bad, but nothing to write home about. Maybe their breakfasts are better. We haven't been there for several years and it will be several years before we go back.😞
The food is constantly fresh and delicious, employees hands over good customer service. I liked how clean it is and character. Will come visit again.
That place is super busy on a Sat or Sun morning. But the food is good the service is fast and friendly. They really only do breakfast and lunch but if you're in the area I totally recommend it for a quick bite!
The food is constantly fresh and delicious, staff members provides excellent customer service. I loved the cleanliness and mood. Will visit here again.
Delicious food and great servers. The waitress I always get is super sweet, helpful, and precise. The food is always great quality, nice and warm, and made with love. Definitely recommend!
Good service. Wild rice sausage really good. Overall good experience, been here a few times. No complaint's.
Good food, service, and prices!
Excellent service and food.
Cute, local restaurant serving American favorites and breakfast. Servers are friendly, food is delicious (I had breakfast) and prices are fair. My one complaint is that the OJ is out of a machine and tastes accordingly. Giant ring of hash browns cooked to perfection on a flat top makes up for that.
Pricing was higher then expected. My food was acceptable and I did enjoy the wild rice brats. My wife however did not enjoy her breakfast sausage what so ever and I ended up eating hers.
Friendliest greasy spoon in town. Clean and spacious version of the old Town's Edge Caffè.
Pretty good food. Generous portions. Great staff. Great prices. I ordered off the dinner menu one day and the breakfast menu the next day. For dinner I got the fried chicken and it was nice and crispy and juicy. It came with fries that were crispy as well. For breakfast I ordered the pork chops and eggs. Although I was expecting the pork chops to be fried they were still good. Three came out which was a lot! I had my eggs over easy and they were perfect! I would visit again if in the area.
Their French toast is awesome! The Lantern is worth a stop. They are easy to see right off of highway 10 and always have great breakfast. Thanks again for the great service and even better food!
Excellent breast breakfast best hash browns in town very good service
Been a place I've been going to for a while. Glad they are open again.
Good place for breakfast. They let you order what you want so it is really nice that way. Friendly staff and great service.
God food, good service, reasonable price
Always a family-like experience surrounds you, although you're not really a part of it but a spectator at a another's family event. Locals have found a place here, and the waitresses served us efficiently we were experiencing scenes from a many well developed relationships of locals interacting with the servers. The food was good but you're definitely a visitor here. Still, as a traveler, that was okay for this patron.
This spot never fails to impress. They have fresh dishes for reasonable pricing, there no long wait even when the spot is loaded.
Super friendly waitress, good food, cozy casual atmosphere.
Delightful find on our way home! Our waitress Alyssa was extremely friendly and attentive. The salad bar was stocked, and the chicken noodle soup on the line was excellent. My son had the kids french toast and the bread was perfect for french toast. This might become a new tradition when coming home from Up North!
Located right along Highway 10 this long time diner has long been a St. Cloud staple serving hearty breakfasts and other comfort foods.
Had the hot turkey sandwich. The mashed potatoes were instant, the gravy was thickened bouillon, the bread was the cheapest generic white bread they could find and the turkey was deli lunch meat. So much room for improvement.
I always have their salad bar which, even though it's not a large salad bar, is fresh and tasty. Their soups and chilis are hot and delicious. The staff working there are always friendly and provide great service. I only wish they were open a little later for dinners as they close at 4 p.m.
The staff is always pleasant and the buffet is always stacked with fresh food.
First time stopping here with the family for breakfast. The food was great and the wait staff was attentive
More fun behind the counter, no smiles at the table... Hmmmmm
Landmark family restaurant on St. Cloud's east side. The menu offers a wide variety of quality American style food options. Food orders turn quickly and the staff is courteous.
Absolutely amazing. Great breakfast and lunch items there are just as good. Great service better food!
Wasn't busy. Fast service. Good food.
Very old establishment but kept current and clean. Good food and good prices. Very good service.
The food is good. The service is fast. Staff is nice. The environment was cool.
The gravy was a little too salty the service was really good though
Staff friendly and keeps track of your needs. Food arrives hot tastes great. Very generous portions
We weren’t that impressed at first, but we are now obsessed with Copper Lantern. We’ve turned it into a weekly tradition! We love the look of the restaurant inside, it matches our outdoorsy/nature personalities. The copper lanterns are a nice touch too ;)! The food is hit or miss, but we’ve found a few dishes that we really enjoy. The eggs Benedict is by far the best! The garden omelette and the croissant breakfast are some other great options. We haven’t tried the salad bar yet, but it’s on the list, and we’ll definitely be back.
The food was great, the serves was great the atmosphere was peaceful.
It's been a while since I was here, but it's still as good as I remember. Very simple meals priced very well and the friendliest staff in town.
Amazing breakfast. Great service. During COVID they have really made sure their customers are safe! They have disposable menus and let you call ahead if you want. Their employees are wearing masks as well! Highly recommend.
Our family recently moved to the east side of the st. Cloud metro area and we are discovering just how great this restaurant is. Prior to this year we have not eaten there and knowing what we all missed not going to the east side of St. Cloud. The food always tastes more then wonderful.. I highly recommend it.
This place is so underwhelming. Each time I’ve eaten here, the food is always either overcooked, under-seasoned, or both. Our chicken was burnt and our side salad was lettuce with at least a half cup of croutons. Please try Kay’s Kitchen in St. Joe, Kay’s Cafe in Saint Cloud, or Jimmy’s Pourhouse in Sauk Rapids if you’re looking for quality food and the experience to match!
The food was horrible. I ordered the mushroom steak and it was bland. I get better food at dive bars. Some of the staff was really nice but most seemed to have an attitude. The server even made snarky remarks after I gave her 20%. NEVER EVER GOING BACK!
Great food and service!
Was in Saturday morning around 10am. Ordered a garden omelette, eggs and bacon, and biscuits and gravy. Omelette was bland, no flavor. Bacon wasn’t anything but fatty. Hash browns were nothing but grease. Biscuits were doughy, sausage wasn’t done. Burnt on the outside and chewy and cold on the inside. Service was alright. Waitress was alright.
My favorite breakfast spot. Excellent food and service
